DTF Ink | Direct to Film Pigment Ink

DTF ink is used to print designs onto DTF PET film. After printing, hot-melt powder is applied and cured to form a transferable adhesive layer, then the design is pressed onto fabric.

This page is a product overview + buying guide so you can choose the right ink configuration for your printer and workflow.

DTF Ink - Standard + White + Fluorescent Options

DTF Ink - Premium 6-Color: CMYK + LC + LM

What DTF Ink Does

DTF pigment ink prints the image on the film. Powder is applied on top of the wet ink, cured, and then the print is transferred using heat press. Ink choice affects:

  • color brightness and smooth gradients
  • stability during long runs
  • clogging risk (depends on ink quality and maintenance)
  • final feel and stretch (depends on full setup and settings)
